Domino 8 unter Debian ohne X Server

Natürlich wird Debian von IBM nicht supportet...Dieser hinweis kommt auch während der Installation. ich habe aber einen Domino 8.0.1
auf debian 4 aufsetzen können. Ich habe dazu einen Vmwareserver genommen, darin Debian 4 installiert ( allerdinsg mit X server ) und Lotus Domino 8.0.1 aufgesetzt. libc6 musste natürlich auf einen neueren Stand gebracht werden.

Nun will ich das ganze mal ohne X machen.  weiss noch nicht ob das geht. Vielleicht hat es ja schon jemand probiert.

Kannst du ...Ist halt ne Glaubensfrage, welches System man am meisten benutzt, und wie es supportet wird und welche Doku zur Verfügung steht....da war ich bisher bei Debian gut aufgehoben. Aber meines Wissens bezieht sich die Aussage von "m3" auf den client
und nicht auf den Server . Oder ?

ist 8.0.1 der Server zertifiziert und ab 8.5 der Client. Ähnliches habe ich glaube ich auch bei Ed gelesen.

Notes and Domino 8.0.1 platforms and system requirements

Mit Betonung auf dem "scheint". Ich hab mit Russ Holden (Chief Architects Notes) auf der Lotusphere 2008 gesprochen und er meinte, der Ubuntu Support beschränkt sich auf den Client.
Das stimmt auch mit der IBM-Presseaussendung überein:
