Trügt mich meine Erinnerung, oder war es nicht der "Knaller" von Version 4.6, dass man damit Mails auch via Browser handeln konnte ? Ging das überhaupt mit der 4.5 ?? Dass der 4.5er Client ein 4.6er Mailfile nicht mag, dürfte auch eingängig sein, da mit 4.6 etliche neue Klassen und Methoden / Properties der Klassen eingeführt wurden.

im Webinterface bekomme ich mit der deutschen mail46-Template folgende Fehlermeldung:
"HTTP Web Server: Application Exception - Couldn't find design note"
Die englische funktioniert, ist allerdings eben - englisch.
in der deutschen 4.6.7er Version (Aus dem Jahr 2000) gibt es ja eine MAIL46.NTF und eine MAIL46lc.NTF. Beide scheinen kein funktionierende Webinterface zu haben.
Gibt es irgendwo ein funktionierendes deutsches Template, das ich mal versuchen könnte?

Oder kann mir jemand die deutsche mail-Template (mail46c.ntf) vom Notes 4.6.5a zur verfügung stellen um zu sehen, ob diese Funktioniert. Die englische 4.6.5.a hatte ja meines wissens nach noch diesen weißen look, war also definitiv anders wie die letzten 4.6er

Das Mail-Template aus http://atnotesde.h685426.serverkompetenz.net/index.php?topic=16986.0 hat auch nicht funktioniert.

Is it Possible to Use a Web Browser to Send Mail From Notes 4.5x Mail File?

Problem:

When you use a web browser to open a Mail file that is based on the mail template that ships with Domino 4.5x, you do not see an option to create a new Memo and you are unable to send a memo from a browser. 

The option to send mail from a browser is available in Mail files based on Combo Mail template (MAILC46.NTF) and Web Mail template (MAILW46.NTF) that ships with Domino 4.6x.  Is it possible to use a web browser to send mail when using a Mail file based on the 4.5x template?

Solution:

The mail template that ships with the Domino 4.5.x server is not web enabled.  The forms, views, and other design elements in the template that ships with that version of the server were not designed for use on the web.

In order to web enable a Domino 4.5.x Mail file, you need to replace the design of the 4.5x Mail file with a copy of the 4.5.1 Web Mail template that is available for download from the Notes.net web site at http://www.notes.net.

Danke, auf http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=sim220d36fc8f3256e4685256b91007da6cc finde ich sogar noch die release notes aber... hat irgend jemand das ding auf deutsch? Auf ihrer downloadseite findet man bei versionen vor 5 nur noch das "Updated Italian mail template (MAIL45.NTF)" :(
