484, 486 und 287 bestanden. Hoffentlich sind die 2000 Voucher für diese certis noch nicht ausgegeben. Glaub ich aber nicht. :)
Ich hätte noch gerne den Voucher für 340 (Websphere Administration).

IBM scheint weiter ihren Websphere-Zertifizierungs-Dschungel zu düngen.
Es soll nun eine neue Zertifizierung für WebServices mit WSAD geben.
Webservices ist nicht alter Wein in neuen Schläuchen, sondern eine moderne und wie ich finde effiziente Art um heterogene Systemlandschaften miteinander zu integrieren (praktisch was man früher mit csv-Dateien gemacht hat). Für jemanden, der diese Tests machen will, ist das natürlich ein 2-schneidiges Schwert. Zum einen find ich es ok, sich über certies in Themen einzuarbeiten. Kunden fehlt momentan vielleicht ein bischen die Geduld, als Einarbeitungsmanövergebiet zu dienen.
Zum anderen geht wirklich eine Menge Zeit dafür drauf.
IBM Tests gelten als sind ziemlich unberechenbar, was auch wieder gut ist, weil so die braindump-Welt ein echtes Problem hat.

hier sammle ich gutes Material für die jeweiligen Themen der Zertifizierung:
Mikalai Zaikins SCBCD Study Guide. Zwar ist das für die EJB-certi von Sun. Da gibt es aber Überschneidungen zu IBM. Eignet sich vermutlich nicht sehr gut als Einführungstext zu EJB. Aber als Wiederauffrischung oder um einen Überblick zu bekommen. Der Mann scheint sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben haben:

Like others allready have said, Larman is the most important book for the test.
While first reading his book 2 years or so ago I have found it a little bit annoying to read. Now the second time it was much more pleasant experience. A lot of ground about oo, rup and uml is covered.
The whole preparation has given me some ideas where to better our own oo/rup based practise, I think.
Lots of big diagrams and text.
For the uml stuff you need to know the basics, but those really quite well. No questions about nasty details.
There were very few (and quite basic) questions about GoF-Design patterns. Its good idea to really understand the stuff, which Larman calls GRASP design patterns. Those are general principles about OO-design.
And you need to have some idea about RUP.
I've used whizlab test simulator and for sure it has helped to get a good score. I consider their last hours preparation summary as the best text about the stuff covered in the exam. Don't be fooled by the whizlabs. Their tests are much tougher than the real one. It was hard fight for me to boost my performance from 62% in first exam to 75% in last one. Some questions there are quite exotic. Anyway its good questions and very usefull explanation.

Ich kann schwer beurteilen inwieweit es mir bei Bewerbungen hilft, dass da diese ganzen certis dabei sind.
Für mich sehe ich das als einen Weg, um mich wirklich tief mit einem Thema zu beschäftigen. Dieser ganze Prozess war kein stures Auswendiglernen. Es war relativ zeitaufwendig und sowas läuft ja auch neben meiner normalen Arbeit, die auch nicht mit links zu erledigen ist.
Jedenfalls muss ich mich jetzt erstmal um Servlets, JSP, EJB, JMS, SOAP und Websphere für die restlichen beiden Dinger kümmern.
