Private folder replication in a cluster

During standard replication, private folders and their contents do not replicate, except when replicating with the client of the folder owner. Within clusters, however, private folders do replicate to other replicas within the cluster. This behavior ensures that when clients fail over, no matter which replica they access, the database contents are identical. Both cluster replication and standard replication support replicating private folders and their contents within a cluster.

Private folders can be accessed only by the creator of the folder or a server within the cluster. Only servers defined as user type "server" or "server group" in a database access control list (ACL) can access and replicate private folders within a database. Servers that are not explicitly included in the ACL cannot replicate private folders.

Hallo Torsten,

in der cldbdir.nsf stehen die Datenbanken auch die cldbdir.nsf mit Out of Service = no und Cluster Replication = Yes. Wähle ich nun eine betroffene Datenbank im Admin-Client aus und wähle unter Tools Cluster stehen sie auf Out of Service.

Hallo Rainer,

die Server sind über eine "Servergruppe", alle mit Manager eingetragen.
Im Admin-Client über Ansichten verwalten, weicht auch die Größe der Ansichtsindizes ab.

Das ist ein Irrtum mit dem Admin- Client: Bei einigen Aktionen zeigt der Client nicht den "aktuellen Stand", sondern einfach eine Voreinstellung (so zum Beispiel auch im "Quota"- Dialog).

Das heisst: Wenn der da "Out Of Service" anzeigt, dann ist das einfach die "Default" Option, NICHT der aktuelle Stand der Datenbank...

Ok, dann würde das ja passen.
Nur warum werden die privaten Ordner nicht übertragen, in einer Diskussionsdatenbank funktionieren die Favoriten.
