I've been involved in two conversations today that have lead me to this blog posting.  The first revolved around the old story of "people not knowing what Notes is capable of".   The second was from a blog reader who is having problems with copying Lotus Notes data into a spreadsheet.  I figured combining the two would make a perfect blog posting.   So....

Did you know developers can add an action which will move data from a Notes view to a spreadsheet?  More importantly, does your boss?  :-)

Disclaimer!  I am not a developer guru, so this NSF is just one example of how this can be done.  There are several export to spreadsheet code samples on the various developerWorks forums which might be better than the code I've used here!
