Notes Kalendereinladung an Outlook

Seid gegrüßt allerseits,

habe seit heute ein Problem. Wenn von unserer Seite Einladungen mit Termin (Lotus Notes R6) an eine bestimmte Firma (Outlook) gesendet werden können Sie diese Einladungen weder ablehnen noch akzeptieren. Diese Firma schiebt natürlich uns das Problem zu. Ich habe dies selbst jedoch auf unserer Testumgebung nachvollzogen und dort kann ich jedoch ohne Probleme ablehnen oder
annehmen (habe sogar die Buttons).
Meine Frage gibt es im Exchange eine eigene Einstellung dafür (so wie mit der .dat Konvertierung).
Wäre für einen kleinen Hinweis sehr dankbar.

Danke das wäre auch meine Antwort gewesen aber leider Dank Chef (Freunderlwirtschaft) und
hochgepriessenen Qualitätsmanager darf ich das ausbaden. Nebenbei erwähnt ich habe wenig Ahnung von Outlook und zweitens ist die Firma mit dem Outlook nicht gerade klein und wird noch dazu für Outsorcing arbeiten vo uns dafür bezahlt. Nun gut darum geht es auch nicht.
Bitte nur einen kleinen Hinweis damit ich dorthin fahren kann und den Mist beheben.

die Antwort hatte ihre Gründe. Ich durfte mich mit dem Thema in den letzten Jahren nämlich auch schon mehrfach beschäftigen und in der Regel ist Notes NICHT schuld, auch wenn die Microsoft Gläubigen das in der Regel nicht glauben wollen.

Aus unserer Knowledge Base hier:

Das Problem ist hier, das sich Outlook und je nach Version die eingesetzt wird teilweise auch Lotus Notes nicht wirklich an die Standards zum Datenaustausch über das ICAL Format halten. Bei entsprechender Konfiguration können aber große Teile des ICS Workflows abgedeckt werden.

Was Outlook bzw. Exchange angeht gibt es folgende Anmerkungen. Mit Exchange V5.5 funktioniert der Datenaustausch grundsätzlich nicht und mit den anderen (späteren) Versionen von Exchange nur dann wenn es explizit in Exchange angegeben wird das dieses Format verwendet werden soll..

Mit den funktionierenden Versionen gibt es bestimmte Caveats die in dem Artikel von IBM genauer beschrieben sind.

Configuring Outlook To Use ICalendar
If you are using Outlook to communicate with people using scheduleWorld you need to configure Outlook to use an open standard (RFC 2445) for iCalendar messages.
Microsoft has a website that explains how to configure Outlook to use iCalendar to publish your free/busy times and send meeting requests.
Outlook 2000: Configure Outlook 2000
Outlook 2003: Configure Outlook 2003
Outlook 95, 98, XP: Configure Outlook XP
NOTE: Chris Hodgetts and Kenneth Rybka have mentioned that the screenshots shown do not appear if you have installed Outlook in "Corporate" mode. You must configure Outlook in "Internet Only" mode so you can use open standards for iCalendar messages.
NOTE: Kenneth Rybka emailed the following useful information:
Outlook 2000 Clients must have Hotfix 825817 applied, file OUTLOOKff.msp, 3219kb installed. Installation prompts/requires access to the original installation media, MS Office Std or Pro. Installation of this patch will enable the client machines to open and record the calendaring information onto an Exchange Server, for messages from (Exchange 2000) and Lotus Notes 6.5 that are sent inbound in the .ics format. I know that clients versions Lotus Notes 6+ has built-in support for iCal, as does Outlook 2002.
When scheduling a meeting in Outlook 2000 one must create a new meeting and fill in the necessary info. For attendees, highlight all intended attendees (Exchange Server mailbox holders only!) DO NOT add external Lotus Notes employees here. Adding them here results in a message being send with junk characters, probably some type of translation/encoding error.
To set up external attendees, now click on Actions, and select 'Forward as iCalendar'. This will pull up a new mail message with your xyzmeeting.ics RFC Standard calendar file attachment. Now, erase all Exchange employees from the To: field, add all Lotus Notes employees, and click send. The Outlook Calendar meeting screen should still be present with your employees. Hit Send.
External employee responses will generate an e-mail message to the sender, and add an appropriate entry to their Exchange 2000 and Notes/Domino calendaring.

bei mir hat geholfen, daß Mailformat von MIME auf RTF in Notes umzustellen. Seitdem können externe Outlooker meine Einladungen annehmen.

Das wundert mich jetzt ein wenig, denn das RT Format ist normalerweise zwischen diesen beiden Anwendungen aber so was von unterschiedlich.

Es funkt bei mir (LN 6.5 an Outlook 2003)- und ist auch www.ibm.com auch der Tipp zum Thema "No Accept Button in Outlook".
