Abrufen der Emails von "außen"

Hallo!

Wir haben seit kurzem ein Problem beim Abrufen der Emails von "außen". Während dies bei einigen Mitarbeitern problemlos klappt, funktioniert es bei anderen (bei gleicher Einstellung) nicht.
Es erscheint auf der Server-Konsole die Fehlermeldung:
"POP3: Ausschließlicher Zugriff auf Maildrop nicht möglich"

Hat jemand von euch eine Idee, woran das liegen kann? Ich freue mich über alle Tipps. Vielen Dank!

Ich hatte soetwas mal gehabt,
da lag es daran das manche user eine Outlook ( welch böses wort *g* ) version benutzten die damit probleme hatte, vieleicht solltest du da mal nachharken.

Problem
How can you set the POP3 idle timeout value on a Domino Server?



Solution
The idle timeout feature is on by default.  In Domino R5 the default value is set to 10 minutes. The value can be overridden with the following Notes.INI parameter:

 POP3_SESSION_TIMEOUT=10

The timeout value is in minutes.  In the above example the default timeout has been overridden to 10 minutes.  For the change to take effect you will need to restart the POP3 server.

Note:  This NOTES.INI parameter only works with Domino 5.0.3 and higher.

Auch in der 5.0.8er Fixlist findet sich, dass bis dahin ein weiteres Problem bestand:
