Problem:
The Domino R5 FT Summarizer is not designed to support the Korean language. If a document or a file (in the case of file system indexing) contains Korean text, the following error will display when the Domain Indexer runs:
"FT Summarize error - xlt error -101: Language unknown is not supported by summarizer."
Steps to reproduce:
1. Add FT_LIBNAME=nftgtr34.dll to the NOTES.INI on a Domino server.
2. Set up Domain indexing to include a database that contains a document with Korean text.
3. Run domidx at the console.
4. When the database that contains the Korean document is indexed, the following displays:
05:02:43 PM Domain Indexer is indexing Database 'domainFT.nsf'
05:02:43 PM FT Summarize error - xlt error -101: Language unknown is not supported by summarizer.
Solution:
An enhancement request has been submitted to Lotus Quality Engineering.
Currently, the Summarizer supports only these languages: Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, and Latin.
