Fehler bei Clusterreplizierung
Driri:
Hoi,

Title:
Lotus' Position on Supporting Windows 2000 and Windows XP with the Notes Client and Domino Server
Product: Lotus Notes > Lotus Notes > 5.x, 4.6x
Platform(s): Platform Independent
Document Number: 7002938 Date: 22.10.2002
R4.6x:
It is the official position of Lotus that we do not support Notes and Domino R4.6x on the Windows 2000 and Windows XP platforms. The basis for this position is that we have not conducted sufficient testing to provide a reasonable level of assurance that Notes and Domino R4.6x will function as expected in those environments. Since R4.6x started sunsetting about a year and a half ago, Lotus determined it was more prudent to focus resources on the current R5 technology and beyond.
R5.x:
There is a lot of excitement around Microsoft's highly visible Windows XP product launch campaign. Customers and Business Partners are starting to ask what the Microsoft Windows XP plan is for Lotus Notes. We encourage customers to begin testing with XP.
Our plan for XP Professional support is as follows:
The current Notes and Domino R5 products (starting with R5.0.3) are supported on today's Windows 2000 platforms. All Notes and Domino R5 releases through 5.0.9a will not be officially supported on Windows XP Professional. However, Microsoft Windows XP Professional is supported for Notes clients 5.0.10 and higher.
There are currently no plans to support any release of the Domino R5 server, or the Domino 6 server, on Microsoft Windows XP Professional.
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition will not be supported with either the Notes client or the Domino server.
