Hallo Heini,

vielen Dank für Deine Hilfe. Ich war allerdings etwas vorschnell mit der Aussage das es auf einer Datenbankkopie funktioniert. Ich habe mir's nochmals genau angeschaut - das hat auch nichts gebracht.

Das einzige was als "Kopie" funktionierte was wenn ich das Dokument per Paste und Copy in meine Maildatenbank kopiere und dort den Volltextindex aktualisiere dann funktioniert es bei mir.

Ich werden den Thread jetzt mal schliessen und deswegen einen PMR bei IBM aufmachen. Bin mal gespannt ob da was sinnvolles rauskommt... - meine letzten Erfahrungen waren ja etwas positiver.

Hat bei diesem Problem noch jemand eine Idee? Habe einen PMR bei Lotus seit 08.12. offen und zwar schon 15x telefoniert, denen die Datenbank upgeloaded und Sie können das Problem auch nachvollziehen - aber können sich das ganze nicht erklären.

Der einzige Vorschlag welchen Sie haben ist eine neue Datenbank anzulegen und die Docs rüberzukopieren....
Bei 15589 Docs und 84 Ordner halt auch nicht so die Knalleridee....

also ich befürchte Du überschätzt uns da ein wenig. Wenn selbst Lotus Support keine Erklärung hat, dann habe ich leider auch keine.
Aber vielleicht fällt ja jemand Anderem noch etwas ein.

...da überschätzt Du den Lotus Support aber heftig - je nachdem an welchen Ansprechpartner man gelangt sind da schon einige unglaubliche Pfeiffen dran die sich auch mehr oder weniger Mühe machen. Ich habe da schon alles erlebt - von KB-Artikeln die überhaupt nichts mit meinem Problem zu tun hatten bis hin zu Standardaussagen - dann legen Sie die Maildatenbank neu an und kopieren die Dokumente alle manuell rüber...

Besonders bitter ist der Support bei LotusEasy Sync Problemen...

PS: Da muss ich schon sagen das hier im Forum einige deutlich mehr drauf haben in der Administration als die meisten vom Lotus Support (Andreas, Jens, Eknori, Manfred u.a.)

Das Problem des Supports wird sein, dass die Tools für die Volltextindizierung von einer externen Firma (Verity, Produkt KeyView) erstellt werden.

Zwischen Notes R5 und R6 gab es einen Wechsel:
Lotus Notes and Domino Release 5.x ship with Keyview version 6.5.5a.
Notes/Domino 6 currently ship with Keyview 7.0a plus three patches.

The Domino server indexes most attached documents by using the licensed KeyView filter technology from Verity, Inc., to translate the attachments into a format that can be indexed.

The Domino 6.x server supports Adobe PDF 1.3, and Adobe PDF 1.4  with the Verity KeyView filter technology version 7.0a.  The Domino R5 server supports Adobe PDF 1.3  with the Verity KeyView filter technology version 6.5.5a on Windows, AIX and Solaris.  Refer to the Verity information on their website (www.verity.com) for further details of the Adobe .PDF format support.
