Ausserdem greift SEP ja beim Handling (z.B.
2. SEP Virenscanner
Beschreibung Problem 2:
The notes2.exe process may crash causing the Notes client to appear to hang or crash.
Cause
Symantec plugin for the Notes client.
Environment
Windows
Diagnosing the problem
Check the logs in Notes\Data\Workspace\ for a javacoreXXX.txt file which is created when the notes2 process terminates unexpectedly. In some cases, this log shows the crashing dll to be a Symantec DLL:
1XHEXCPMODULE Module: C:\Program Files\IBM\Lotus\Notes\NLNVP.DLL
1XHEXCPMODULE Module_base_address: 72420000
1XHEXCPMODULE Offset_in_DLL: 00042CB1
Resolving the problem
Confirm that the version of Symantec anti virus or Endpoint Security is compatible with the installed version of Notes. As a temporary workaround, edit the notes.ini file to remove the following line:
EXTMGR_ADDINS=NLNVP.DLL
Note, this issue was introduced by Symantec in Symantec Endpoint Protection version 12.1.2, and has been fixed in Symantec Endpoint Protection version 12.1.3 (12.1 RU 3).
