Hi Sofia,
Title: "Router: No Messages Transferred to <ServerName> via Notes"
Product: Lotus Domino > Lotus Domino Server > 6.x, 5.x
Platform(s): Platform Independent
Date: 17.08.2004
Doc Number: 1086699
This document is based on the following Software Problem Report (SPR):
SPR Number SPR Status SPR Fixed Release
CWAR4KEMNZ Resolved/Fixed Lotus Domino Server 5.0.13
Problem
You find that the router frequently reports in the LOG.NSF that no messages are transferred to "ServerName" while at the exact same time a message has been delivered to the server.
Example from the LOG.NSF:
08:05:11 AM Router: No messages transferred to NOTES05/Mail/Srv via Notes
08:05:11 AM Router: Transferred 1 messages to NOTES05/Mail/Srv via Notes
It has been proven that it is indeed a different router thread, so it is not an actual problem. However, you find it to be an annoyance in that you must adjust your monitoring tool, Intelliwatch, so that it does not report this error. Is there a way to suppress this message from appearing in the Log?
Solution
This behavior was reported to Lotus software Quality Engineering and has been addressed in Domino 5.0.13. It is still under investigation for the 6.x code stream.
Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Domino Release 5.0.13 / 5.0.13a MR fix list (available at

Mail Server
SPR# CWAR4KEMNZ - This fix reduces the number of transfer threads scheduled, it will avoid additional threads from attempting to transfer to specific destinations when no messages are pending. This change should reduce the number of "Router: No messages transferred to Server/ou/org via Notes" written to the log.
