Problem
You have upgraded to Domino 6.0.1 Server from any previous release of Domino. At 2:00 AM Validation, the Schedule Manager terminates with one of the following error messages:
<date> 02:00:00 AM SchedMgr: Unable to load system level detail harvesting settings: Multiple users with same name found in Domino Directory
<date> 02:00:00 AM Error initializing Schedule Manager: Multiple users with same name found in Domino Directory
or
<date> 02:00:00 AM SchedMgr: Unable to load system level detail harvesting settings: Invalid or nonexisting document
<date> 02:00:00 AM Error initializing Schedule Manager: Invalid or nonexisting document.
The error "SchedMgr: Unable to load system level detail harvesting settings: Multiple users with same name found in Domino Directory" occurs is if more than one default Domain Configuration document exists in the Domino Directory. Only one default Domain Configuration document is allowed. One of the documents must be deleted.
The error "SchedMgr: Unable to load system level detail harvesting settings: Invalid or nonexisting document" occurs is if NO default Domain Configuration document exists in the Domino Directory.
The administrator must create a default Domain Configuration document in the Domino Directory. This issue has been reported to Lotus Software Quality Engineering and is under investigation.
Supporting Information:
During 2:00 AM Validation the SchedMgr task is looking for a $ServerConfig view in the Domino Directory. It is possible that this view has not been built or is missing. To check if a $ServerConfig view is present, open the Domino Directory so that it shows all hidden views (by selecting the Domino Directory bookmark or database icon while holding down the SHIFT and CTRL keys simultaneously). One the Domino Directory is open select View, Go To and scroll down to the hidden views. If $ServerConfig is not listed, replace the design of the Domino Directory and then rebuild the view.
To rebuild the view type the following command at the server console:
load updall names.nsf - t"($serverconfig)" -r
