Hi!
I'm having problems setting up the integration between the mail file of Domino Users and the HelpDesk integration.
I 've already inserted (in the menu "Create" inside Lotus Notes client) the menu voice called "HelpDesk".
After filling in all the fields in the module the mail goes correctly to the correct address (my address).
But when I try to open the request inside my client I receive this message.
Unable to locate module: newBugReport
Maybe I missed some passages in configuring the template.
Do I have to cerate a new Domino User with HelpDesk.nsf as Mailfile?!?!

Hi,
this issue occurs, because the "Helpdeskanfrage" form is missing its alias. Open the form in designer and add "NewBugReport" as alias.
This should solve the problem ...

OK!
I've fixed the opening of the massage.
But I thought that it would have gone directly INSIDE the HelpDesk application.
Is it correct?
Actually I can pen the "help request message" without errors, but I don't know what to do with it.
:'(

Sure, if you have setup the helpdesk db as mail in db, it will. The address for this db should be HELPDESK , coz this name is hardcoded in the SendTo field of the "Helpdeskanfrage" form. And you have to start the Dispatcher agent. This agent handles all incoming requests.
Be sure to sign the database with you server ID ;-)

First of all: Do you have a Domino server? You cannot use HELP without a Domono server ...
-
hehehe
nice try!
I've got a Domino server.
version 7.0.1
;D
-
also che clients are mixed
6.5.3 and 7.0.1
Sadly, my Notes/Domino knowledge is limited to:
- creation of new mail users
- client installation
- user activation
:'(

OK, open the administrator client and select the files tab; after you selected the HELP database you can click the "Database - Sign" action on the right navigation pane. Under "Wich ID to choose" select "Active Server ID".
To create a mail-in-database click the "Person & Group" tab in the admin client and then ...

it seems to work!
thank you.
I'll post later if I'll get more problems
;D
