Hallo Forum,

ich habe folgendes Problem.

Seit einiger Zeit werden bei uns keine Newsgroups mehr abgerufen. Folgende Meldung steht mehrfach im Protokoll:
NNTP-Server: Pull von Server 'news.o-s-e.de' ergab ARTICLE-Fehler:  No such article found
Kann mir vielleicht jemand einen Tip geben wie ich den Fehler beseitigen kann?

Hi King,

vielleicht hilft das:

In the Newsgroups field, you specify to receive multiple newsgroups by using an asterisk, for example, as follows:

COMP.GROUPWARE.LOTUS-NOTES.*

When the connection is made, the Notes Log (LOG.NSF) reports the following errors:

"NNTP Server: (<IP Address> send->) 500 command not recognized."

Solution:

The error occurs because the Domino NNTP server does not support streaming newsfeeds; it does not recognize the MODE STREAM command.

In one particular case, a customer was able to work around the problem by adding each newsgroup individually in the Server Connection document.  Instead of using a wildcard symbol (comp.*), the customer listed the full name of each newsgroup.  For example, the entries in the Newsgroups field were as follows:

COMP.GROUPWARE.LOTUS-NOTES.ADMIN
COMP.GROUPWARE.LOTUS-NOTES.APPS
COMP.GROUPWARE.LOTUS-NOTES.PROGRAMMER

After this change, the Domino server accepted the newsfeed without error.
