Hallöle,
Habe einen Domino 507 Server auf einer Sun fire mit Solaris 8.0 laufen. Zusätzlich habe ich Watchdog und Chinese Wall drauf. Problem: ständig wird die Swap-Partition von tmp-files zugemuellt, und das bei max 11GB temp-Speicher..... hat jemand das gleiche Problem???

Servus MBambi,

welche Solaris Version setzt Ihr ein ? Ich muss mal schauen, es gibt da ein interessantes Redbook zu dem Thema (wie kann man hier eigentlich Attachments posten).
Vielleicht gibst Du mir einfach Deine Email, dann schick ich Dir das Ding.

This is used by default on Solaris systems. (Solaris systems also support System V Shared memory for data sharing. (See the Release Notes for Domino on Solaris.) Run "ls -al /tmp" on the server and record the size of files starting with .NOTESMEM*. The size of the largest file is the default value of Notes_SHARED_DPOOLSIZE on Solaris. If System V shared memory is used, determine the value as described above.

Soweit ich noch in Erinnerung habe, werden die tmp Files auch beim Compact verwendet, die sollten dann allerdings im Data Verzeichniss stehen.
