Hallo,
ich versuche zur Zeit den Imap Dienst auf unserem Domino Server anstendig zum laufen zu bekommen. Bis jetzt habe ich es allerdings nur geschafft, dass ich Mails sowohl aus dem Lan als auch aus dem Internet empfangen kann, und Mails aus dem Lan ins Internet schicken kann. Aus dem Internet ins Internet über den Domino Server geht es leider nicht.

Daraufhin habe ich testhalber mal "tmo-101-218.customers.d1-online.com" bei SMTP Outbound Controls -> "Allow messages only from the following Internet addresses to be sent to the Internet:"
eingetragen, hat aber leider nichts gebracht. Jetzt weiß ich nicht mehr weiter.
Per SSL klappt übrigens gar nichts, das wäre dann meine nächste Frage. Port 443 ist aktiviert und auf der Firewall freigegeben. Aber da tut sich absolut gar nichts.

1) Per IMAP4 kann man keine Mails versenden, das geht nur via SMTP.
2) In der Form ist das auch gut so, da Du sonst einen offenen Relay betreiben würdest.
Du willst
a) die Mails über den Notes-Client versenden
oder
b) dich vor dem Versenden anmelden. Aus der Admin-Hilfe, Kapitel "Specifying enforcement of inbound relay controls":
By default, if you deny relaying for a domain or set of domains (for example, all external domains), all hosts in the denied domains are subject to the relay controls. This level of restriction prevents remote IMAP or POP3 clients that connect to Domino by way of Internet service providers (ISPs) in external domains from sending outbound Internet mail because Domino does not recognize the source of the message as a valid relay origin.
To ensure that Domino allows POP3 or IMAP users to send outbound Internet mail, you can customize relay enforcement to allow all authenticated users to relay. After the Domino SMTP listener determines that a connecting host has been authenticated, it treats the connection as though it originated from a local user and exempts it from the Inbound relay controls.

Allow all authenticated users to relay - Users who log in with a valid name and password are exempt from the applicable inbound relay controls. Use this to enable relaying by POP3 or IMAP users who connect to the network from ISP accounts outside the local Internet domai

Hat der Domino-Server denn auch ein gültiges SSL-Zertifikat?

Also "Allow all authenticated users to relay" hatte ich bereits eingestellt. Danach klappte es dann auch mit dem empfangen.
Wenn ich versuche mit dem Thunderbird eine Mail zu versenden werde ich auch vor dem versenden erneut nach meinem PW gefragt, aber dann kommt halt: "Fehler beim Senden der Nachricht. Der Mail-Server antwortete: Mail from ***@***.de rejected for policy reasons...." und auf der Server Konsole steht das oben gepostete.
Und ein gültiges SSL Zertifikat hat der Server auch ;/ . Bei der Geschichte bin ich mir aber noch nicht ganz sicher ob es nicht am Thunderbird liegt. Wenn ich nämlich SSL im Thunderbird auswähle scheint es mir so als würde er keinen Mux tun, also nichtmal versuchen irgendwie zu verbinden.
Und zu den Forenregeln, ich war erst etwas verwundert bezüglich Nicknames, da ihr ja auch welche habt. Hab mich dann auch mal an euch orientiert und hoffe es ist so ok.

TCP Authentication
Anonymous: Yes
Name & password: Yes

Mhm...SMTPInbound Site sieht so aus wie du sagst.
Über den Blogpost hab ich mal drübergelesen. Bis morgen lass ich die Sache aber erstmal liegen.
