Hallo,
ich habe das Problem, dass die Sametime-Funktionalität nicht unter Firefox läuft.
Beim IE funktioniert es allerdings einwandfrei. Somit sollte die Konfiguration eingentlich grundsätzlich in Ordung sein.
Irgendwo hab ich mal gelesen, dass für den Firefox speziell eine Jar-Datei zertifiziert werden muss? ???
Leider find ich die Seite auch nicht mehr.
Laut Handbuch muss lediglich Sametime höher 3.1 und clientseitig Java höher 1.4.1 vorhanden sein.
Wir verwenden Sametime 7.5 und clientseitig ist java mindestens 1.5 meistens 1.6 installiert.
Wenn der Webaccess aufgerufen wird, ist beim Firefox nirgends zu sehen, dass irgendwas java-mäßiges gestartet wird. Beim IE sieht man, dass z.B. die stlinks gestartet wird.
Jemand eine Idee?

hast Du mal den Cache unter Java gelöscht?
Bin mir nicht sicher, ob Java 1.6 unterstützt wird :-:

Cache ist gelöscht, hab auch schon mal Cache komplett deaktiviert.. Ohne Erfolg.
Denke schon, dass es mit der 1.6er auch läuft, zumindest der IE hat offenbar wenig Probleme damit.

Ist am Firefox unter "Einstellungen - Inhalt" Java aktiviert?

Selbstverständlich. Wäre ja auch ein wenig zuuu trivial gewesen.

Offensichtlich geht das nur über den "Sametime Connect for Browsers" ??? :-:
Ich kann das Nachstellen, über Firefox ist Sametime nicht direkt in der DWA zu nutzen....

Der Internet Explorer ist nicht deinstalliert. Über den IE klappt es ja.
"Sametime Connect for Browsers" ?? Sagt mir leider nichts.

Ev, Quickr auch installiert?
When using IE the STlinks applets are launched directly off of the Sametime server, but when using Firefox the applets are launched from the Quickr Server itself. Quickr ships with an older version of STLinks, to fix I copied the STlinks directory from my Sametime server to my Quickr server (STLinks is in the Domino Data directory in domino\html\sametime). After copying the STLinks directory you then need to replace the stlinks\stlinks.jar with the one in the stlinks\signed directory, since Firefox will only run the signed applet. Finally I had to clear my browser cache since it had cached the applet that was originally on the server.

You have enabled Lotus® Sametime® integration for your Lotus® Domino® Web Access 8 users. Microsoft® Internet Explorer browser users are able to enable instant messaging and chat features with other users without a problem. However, Mozilla Firefox browser users report that they do not see the Instant Messaging button in the Domino Web Access (DWA) user interface, and the option to enable Instant Messaging does not display in the DWA user preferences.
Solution
Additional steps are needed to configure Sametime Awareness for Firefox users:
1. Add the iNotes_WA_DisableFirefoxAwareness=0 notes.ini parameter to the notes.ini of the DWA server.
2. Copy the signed version of stlinks.jar into the stlinks directory (from the stlinks/signed directory) to each stlinks directory (both on the Sametime server and the DWA server).
3. Set up the Instant Contact List in Domino Web Access using the steps outlined in the Administrator Help Guide in the topic "Setting up Domino Web Access with Sametime".
After making these modifications, Firefox users should be able to enable instant messaging in the DWA user preferences and log on to Sametime from within DWA.
