Hallo,
wir haben Notes 6.5.4 und domino 6.5.4 laufen.
Wenn ich eine neue Mail erstelle und einen Anhang anhänge sollte normalerweise das entsprechende Symbol angezeigt werden.
Also z.B. das Word oder Excel Symbol aus Windows.
Wir haben allerdings folgendes fest gestellt:
- Hat der Pfad zu dem Anhang max. 100 Zeichen, wird das Symbol angezeigt.
- Hat der Pfad zu dem Anhang mehr als 100 Zeichen, wird das Symbol nicht angezeigt.
Kann das jemand nachvollziehen oder habt Ihr sogar einen Tip zur Lösung für mich?

Hast du evtl einen Link zum offiziellen Workaround von IBM.
Workaround: Move the file to a folder with a shorter path on the system before attaching in Notes.

Problem File attachments created using the Notes 6.5.4 client do not display the associated icon for the file type. A generic or gray icon is displayed instead. This does not occur with all attachments, only those in which the total number of characters in the source path and filename is greater than 64 characters. The drive, backslash, and filename extension characters in the path are not counted in the 64-character limitation. Solution This issue has been reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# SVRO6BMU2V, and a fix is being researched.
Workaround: Move the file to a folder with a shorter path on the system before attaching in Notes.
