Hallo

kaum das eine agbeschlossen habe ich ein anderes Problem.

Der Notes Minder kann an den Clients nicht gestartet werden. Es kommt folgende Fehlermeldung:
"Error Initializing Notes! Be Sure your NOTES.INI file can be found on the search path (PATH)"
Installationstyp ist Multiuser(Dataverzeichnis im c\dokumente und einstellungen\user\...)

Hat jemand ne Idee?

Problem
After a Multi-User installation of Notes Client, you attempt to launch Notes Minder from the shortcut in the Start menu. However, you receive the error:

"Error Initializing Notes!"



Solution
This issue was reported to Quality Engineering and is under investigation. The problem is caused by NOTES.INI not being found in the search path (PATH). Notes Minder can be launched from a command window, but not from the shortcut created by the installer in the Lotus Applications folder on the Start menu. You can work around this issue by creating a new shortcut from the NMINDER.EXE file in the \Notes\ subdirectory. Replace the shortcut in the Lotus Applications folder on the Start menu with the one you just created.

sag ma Glombi, von welcher KBASE bzw. von welcher Homepage hast du diesen Beitrag zitiert?

Und weitere Frage bezueglich Note Minder, gibt es eine Möglichkeit, das Passwort für den jeweiligen Benutzer in der Verknüpfung zu hinterlegen, damit die Benutzereingabe wegfehlt.

Keiner Ahnung wie man Passwortabfrage beim Notes Minder übergeht?

geht meines Wissens nicht. Das würde auch die Sicherheit von Notes untergraben.
