Hi, ich habe einen Domino-Server ( 5.0.9 dt ), der die eMails für alle User bei einem anderen MailServer abholen soll, der die eMails bei verschiedenen POP-Konten sammelt. Dieser eMail-Server ( MDaemon 5.x ) bietet auch die Möglichkeit, ein Gateway einzurichten, das dann mit ETRN abgefragt werden kann.

Wie bringe ich Domino dazu, diese eMails abzuholen?

Habe da auch nicht die Überahnung; hier das , was ich in meiner Datenbank gefunden habe:

ETRN in configuration document is for INBOUND requests.

You must configure ETRN by (also) adding a connection document.

Actions:

1.
Configuration Document Settings:

Below is an example Configuration document (from the Router/SMTP Basics tab). Note, in particular, the settings in the following fields:

a. "SMTP used when sending messages outside of the local internet domain" is "Enabled"
b. "Relay host for messages leaving the local internet domain" is "relay.company.com"

2.
Local Area Connection Document Settings:

The Connection document shown below should have the following:

a. In the Basics tab, the Destination server field should have the outbound ISP server to which you are connecting.
b. In the Replication/Routing tab, the Routing Task field should be set to "Mail Routing," the Router Type set to "Pull Only," and the Pull Routing Request Protocol field set to "SMTP."
c. In the "Request the following when issuing a pull request field" section, you must only check the "The following server/domain/hosts" field, and enter the correct domain like: mydomain.com

hi uschindler,

um das zum Fliegen zu bringen (ETRN) benötigt der Domino Server eine feste IP Adresse, die der MDaemon abfragen kann (sprich Sie darf sich nicht ändern). Um Spam zu verhindern ist ETRN mit dynamischen IPs unüblich. Ist das der Fall ?

PS: Ein großes Hindernis ist dies zum Beispiel bei Domino Servern, die über TDSL angebunden sind. Da muß man immer noch auf Fremdprodukte ausweichen.
