Hi all

ich habe das Problem auf einem N6.5.1 Server, dass wenn ich in einer DB Namen mit ä,ü,ö suche einmal das Ergebnis angezeigt wird und manchmal nicht , ich verstehe nicht mit was es zu tun hat das diese Funktion mal geht und mal nicht.
Hat jemand Erfahrung mit diesem Problem?

Das Problem gab es schon in Notes 4 (oder sogar 3 ?). Eigentlich hatte ich gehofft, dass es behoben sei.

Problem
The index and search functions in Notes seem to be ignoring characters that contain umlauts, such as the special characters ä, ö, or ü. For example, when doing searches for "Mü* " or "Mu* ", you find that it returns the same results and does not differentiate between words with or without these characters.
 
 
Solution
This behavior was reported to Lotus Software Quality Engineering and was determined not to be a software problem.


      The behavior occurs because you need to add the NOTES.INI parameter for accented characters, FT_INDEX_ACCENT_SENS=1, on the machine on which the database resides. You then need to delete the index and create a new one; updating is not sufficient.
