Hi, wir bekommen seit ca. 1 Tag folgende Fehlermeldung auf der Notes Konsole, weiss jemand was damit anzufangen ??
Unerwarteter TCP/IP-Fehler, Funktion: 0008h Fehler Notes: 1C5B, NTI: 1000h, Stack: FFFFFFFFh
Fehler bei der Listening-Funktion: Unerwarteter TCP-Fehler. Für Fehlercode siehe Notes Protokolldatei
auf diesem System.
Folgende Systemvoraussetzungen haben wir:
OS400 R 5.2, mit eine Domino Version von 5.08 Deutsch

und ? was sagt die Protokolldatei ? OS400 ist doch sonst recht gesprächig.

scheint mir auch kein typischer Notes Fehler zu sein

die Jungs von der os400 sind leider schon Karneval am feieren, und der Chef sagt ich ( die Maschiene ) hat keinen Fehler !
Würde ein IPL helfen, den Switch haben wir schon überprüft, der war ok.

Also, da steht doch ... siehe Notes-Protokoll. Darauf hast Du doch Zugriff. und bisher hast Du uns nicht gesagt, was da drin steht. Vielleicht steht da ja schon, was nicht passt.
Ulrich hat jedenfalls Recht, das ist nicht ein Domino-Problem, sondern ein Problem des darunterliegenden Netzwerkes (bzw. dessen Treiber oder so).

The following errors are received while attempting to start the Domino SMTP task:

MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS PM Suspending listen task for 20 seconds due to network errors
A listening error usually occurs when another process allocates the port prior to the request from the failing task; however, a review of the output from the AS/400 command NETSTAT *CNN did not report any tasks listening on port 25.

Identify, remove, and/or create port restrictions as necessary by following the steps below:
1. Type the AS/400 command CFGTCP and press ENTER.
2. Type option 4 - Work with TCP/IP port restrictions, and press ENTER. The following information will display:
Work with TCP/IP Port Restrictions

Opt Lower Upper Protocol Profile
*ONLY
25 *ONLY *TCP User Profile
3. The example displayed in step 2 would indicate that only jobs running under that profile or group profile may use the port. In this case, adopted authority would not provide access to the specified port.
4. The error could be resolved by removing the port restriction (Option 4 - Remove) or by having the appropriate profile assigned to the restriction as follows: QNOTES for a *Domino configuration or QTCP for a *MSF configuration.
5. You could have multiple restrictions defined to allow access to the port by more than one user profile, or use a group profile. The listening errors will cease once the appropriate access is provided. Restarts (SMTP or Domino server) are not required. When you make use of a group profile, the following profiles are restricted from this parameter:
QAUTPROF, QCLUMGT, QCLUSTER, QCOLSRV, QDBSHR, QDBSHRDO, QDFTOWN, QDIRSRV, QDLFM, QDOC, QDSNX, QEJB, QFNC, QGATE, QIPP, QLPAUTO, QLPINSTALL, QMSF, QNETSPFL, QNFSANON, QNTP, QPM400, QRJE, QSNADS, QSPL, QSPLJOB, QSRV, QSRVBAS, QSYS, QTCM, QTCP, QTFTP, QTSTRQS, and QYPSJSVR .

Oha, das sieht jetzt aber wirklich danach aus, dass Du auf das Ende des rheinischen Wahnisnns warten musst - das Protokoll, auf das (das hier unschuldige) Notes da verweist, wird wirklich von OS/400 geschrieben. Dad ist nicht die LOG.NSF gemeint ...

kannst du die MAshine neu starten ?? Hast du noch andere Netzwerkkarten in der Mashine , und da kann problemlos gearbeitet werden ? Wenn ja, versuche mal die fehlerhafte Karte ab- und wieder anzuhängen

auf das System ( OS400 ) habe ich keinen Systemzugriff, ich werde den IPL am Montag abwarten, und zusätzlich mit dem Systemtechnikern sprechen - vielleicht sehen die mehr im LOG.
