Hallo,

ein panischer Kollege kam gerade zu mir gerannt und fragt mich, wo seine Inbox im Mailfile geblieben ist. Er hat die Datenbank geöffnet und futsch ist sie. Ich habe den Mailfile nochmal neu geladen, aber die Inbox bleibt verschwunden.

Hat jemand eine Idee, wie sowas passieren kann, bzw. wie man sie wiederkriegt??

versuch mal die Gestaltung zu aktualisieren. Das hilft meistens.

Jo, das sollte langen. Allerdings dürften die Mails, die vorher in der Inbox standen, dort nicht mehr zu finden sein. Die sind nicht weg, aber da bei der Gestaltungsaktualisierung der Ordner neu erstellt wird, ist er erstmal leer.
Bei Bedarf muß sich der Anwender dann die Mails wieder in die Inbox verschieben, z.B. aus "Alle Dokumente" heraus.

datei/datenbank/gestaltung aktualisieren.

Übrigens kenn ich die Problematik und bei uns ist alles nachwievor in der Inbox drin (es muss also nichts kopiert werden...)

Das hat soweit schonmal geklappt. Danke. Aber es fehlt noch der vertikale Scrollbalken. Wo hol ich den denn wieder her?

Der kommt automatisch in Abhängigkeit von den Anzahl Einträgen

Hallo Jutta,

das hab ich mal irgendwo gefunden, allerdings nicht getestet, vielleicht hilft es ja.

Some users' are quite itchy with their hands and they will accidentally delete away their INBOX folder.



If you recover the inbox folder from the mail template, you discover that all entries are gone! You may ask yourself with a sigh, "Do I really have to go through the hassle of recovering the mail file from backup?"
Here's a solution without having to go through all those troubles...

Code

(1) Firstly, copy the INBOX folder design element back to the mail file.
(2) Open up the hidden view ($Sent) and copy its first column formula i.e... @If(DeliveredDate=""; @If(PostedDate="" | @IsUnavailable(PostedDate); 58; @If(Importance="1";124;122)); 0)
(3) Open up the hidden view ($All) and paste the copied formula into the view selection and make a negation of it (this will filter off all posted documents) i.e... SELECT !@If(DeliveredDate=""; @If(PostedDate="" | @IsUnavailable(PostedDate); 58; @If(Importance="1";124;122)); 0)
(4) Go to the "All Documents" view and drag all the documents into the new Inbox folder.
(5) Finally, set back the view selection formula for ($All) view i.e... SELECT @All
