Hi Leute,
wir haben einige User, die per HTTP-zugriff (im LAN) auf ihre Mail-DB zugreifen.
mit der 5.06a gibt es unter XP massive Probleme mit JAVA.
Scheinbar ist dies mit 5.012 behoben.
Weiß jemand bis wann diese in deutsch herauskommt? Oder hat jemand eine andere Lösung?

Die gibt es bereits auf deutsch, wenn ich mich nicht irre.
Hab gerade nachgesehen:
Notes Client 5.0.12 deutsch ist da seit Juni 2003.
Ich habe allerdings keinen Designer & Admin-Client 5.0.12 deutsch gefunden, den gibt es offenbar nur für 5.0.11.

Weder die Aktions-Schaltflächen
(java.lang.ClassNotFoundExeption: lotus.notes.apps.actionbar.Actonbar.class) noch der Navigator werden geladen.
In der Statusleiste erscheint:
Laden: Klasse lotus.notes.apps.outlineapplet.OutlineApplet.class nicht gefunden

Da stimmt aber wohl die ClassPath Variable oder sowas im Betriebssystem nicht.

Die Fehlermeldung deutet darauf hin, dass die JVM von Sun anstelle der von MS verwendet wird.
Diese Einstellung muss im IE geändert werden - unter Extras - Internetoptionen - Erweitert: Dort muss Java Konsole deaktiviert werden.
Bzw. es muss Use Java .... for applet deaktiviert werden.

Problem
Using Microsoft Internet Explorer to access a Domino web page that contains an embedded Java Applet such as the ActionBar, Editor, View or Outline applet, the following error message displays and the applet does not load:
"java.lang.classNotFoundException: lotus.notes.apps.<applet>.<Applet>.class"
For example, when using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 to access Domino Webmail, the following error displays where the Action Bar should display:
"java.lang.classNotFoundException: lotus.notes.apps.actionbar.ActionBar.class"
This error occurs when the Sun JVM installed on the user's machine is unable to interpret the cab file that is automatically sent by the Domino server to any Internet Explorer browser.
This issue has been addressed in Domino 5.0.12 and 6.0.
Prior to 5.0.12, to resolve the problem with the applets loading, the user will not be able to use the Sun JVM with Microsoft Internet Explorer 6. There is normally an Internet Explorer Options setting to disable the use of the Sun JVM, but that requires that another available JVM be present on the machine.
The second issue is documented in document 1090461, "View Applet Intermittently Fails to Display Using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6" and has been addressed in Domino 5.0.11.

SPR# JLIO4ZVARX - Buttons were not displayed on Applets when using Internet Explorer 6.0.
If the server has not been upgraded, it is possible, on some systems, to de-activate the Sun JVM. This is only possible if using Microsoft Windows XP without Service Pack 1a. That service pack removes the Microsoft JVM requiring users to use the Sun JVM.
As part of the install and setup of SDK 1.3, a new section is added to the Internet Options in Microsoft Internet Explorer. This new section is titled Java (Sun) and contains the option "Use Java 2 v1.3.1_02 for <applet> (requires restart)" which is enabled by default (see graphic below). Disabling this option resolves the problem.
The new property can be found by selecting Tools, Internet options from the menu of the browser, switching to the Advanced tab and then going to the Java (Sun) section.
SDK 1.3 can be installed on a user's machine from a variety of sources, such as when installing Microsoft Window XP which installs and uses SDK 1.3.

Da das Deaktivieren der "Use Java..." im IE nicht zum Erfolg führte muss ich wohl sehn, dass ich auf 5.012 update.
