hallo forum,
ich bekomme eine seltsame fehlermeldung beim start eines userer notesserver: "directory assistance tables failed to load properly".
ich kann damit leider nichts anfangen. ist das names evtl. defekt oder gibt es irgendwelche zugriffsprobleme im nt?
vielleicht weiss ja jemand rat.

Hab zwei Sachen bei Lotus gefunden, das erste ist aber für den Server 4.5, vielleicht kommst du damit weiter.

Problem
When a customer starts a Domino 4.5 Server (Domino 4.5), the following error messages appear on the console and in the LOG.NSF file:
"DirAssist: Can't Open View $DirectoryAssistance. NIFFindView Error = Entry Not Found in Index."
"Directory Assistance Tables Failed to Load Properly."
Solution
These errors are caused by adding a Name & Address Book (NAB) filename to the Master Address Book (MAB) field in the Server document, that is not a Master Address Book. For example, you put NAMES.NSF in the field and it is your Public NAB and not a MAB.
In order to avoid the errors described above, create a proper Master Address Book or remove the filename from the Master Address Book field if you are not using a Master Address Book.

danke für den tipp, hat geholfen. es fehlte die datenbank da50.nsf, die allerdings im serverdokument angegeben war.
by the way: kennt sich jemand mit arcserve aus. da bekomme ich ebenfalls eine meldung, das der job incomplete ist. fehlermeldung: unable to logon as user. (USER:ADMINISTRATOR)
es ist arcserve 2000. es ist derselbe rechner, nt und notes 508.
