Domino Server Running on Windows 2000 Intermittently Hangs - Pressing ENTER Resumes Activity

Problem:

The Domino server appears hung.  Pressing the ENTER key resumes activity.  All backed-up server tasks are now running.

Solution:

This is not a Domino problem.  The problem is that starting with Windows 2000, the default DOS window properties have changed.  The new default enables "QuickEdit Mode" (see bitmap below).  Any inadvertent mouse clicks within the Domino Server window (or any DOS window), enables "QuickEdit Mode", and hence it pauses the server.

hallo,
kann es sein, dass das immer der fall ist, wenn einer von euch an der  konsole war, dann blockt (bock) notes. dies kann man aber glaube ich abstellen.

Das Problem mit DR-watson wird durch QNS verursacht.wenn Konflickt zwischen Win2000 und Notes gibt.

Du kannst Qns erst mal umbenennen um zu wissen, ob Oberhaupt ein Problem zwischen beiden gibt, oder ist nur reine Betriebsystem Problem

Noch eine Frage.benutzt du Logitech Maus oder Kabellose Tastator?

Ich glaube, dies passierte immer dann, wenn die Remote-Konsole geöffnet war...vielleicht lags daran.

Am Server selbst hängt eine normale "Cherry" und, ich könnte es nicht fassen, daß es daran liegt, EINE LOGITECH-Maus (allerdings nicht kabellos).

Sag nicht, daß es daran liegt ;-))
