Zu: 04. Meine ID läuft noch bis 3.9.2020. Wie kann ich diese in einer Nur-Client-Umgebung verlängern oder durch eine neue (eigene) ersetzen?

How to recertify a local Notes ID file for POP3 users
Problem
When users configure Lotus Notes as a POP3 client, a local user ID file is automatically created. How can users recertify their ID when it expires, which by default is two years after its creation date?
Solution
Notes POP3 users can recertify their user ID file as follows:
1. In Notes, from the File menu, choose Security --> User Security --> Renew --> Continue.
2. In the Mail Certificate dialog box, enter the user's e-mail address in the To field and click Send.
NOTE: Users configured for POP3 mail may not have a mail.box since their mail is sent via SMTP. If so, they will get a "File does not exist mail.box" error at this step. The workaround is to manually create a mail.box, click Send, open the mail.box, and copy the message to your Inbox.
When the e-mail arrives in the Inbox, it should include two attachments.
3 With the memo open, from the Actions menu, choose Certify Attached ID File and leave the server as Local.
4. Choose Certifier ID, navigate to the Data directory, and open the cert.id file.
NOTE: The cert.id file is automatically created in the Data directory when Notes is configured for POP3.
5. Click OK to display the Certify ID dialog box. By default, the New Expiration date will be set to two years from now.
6. Click Certify. In the Mail Certified ID dialog box, enter your e-mail address in the To field and click Send.
7. Open the memo and from the Actions menu, choose Accept Certificate. The following message will display: "The certificate has been inserted into your ID file".
8. Click OK. Go back to User Security and verify that the new expiration date was changed.
Supporting information:
When selecting "Certify attached ID" (Step 6), you may get an "Entry not found in index" warning message. This error may occur because the server is set to Local and the certlog.nsf cannot be located. It is safe to ignore this warning and click OK to continue with the process.
