Inviewedit event causes client crash

I am using the inviewedit event to directly edit the fields in the view.

There occurs one issue where the client crashes and needs to be restarted.

If any code is called in the following requesttypes from the inviewedit event
VALIDATE_REQUEST,  SAVE_REQUEST, NEWENTRY_REQUEST

the following issue causes a crash:
Alphanumeric input into a number field and closing the current tab by clicking x
After the error message popped up, the client hangs up.

Are you using the latest FP ? Available ?

[booltrue]

No FP installed on this client.
The missing FP should cause the error.

I tried on another client version 9.x.x and it worked.
