Update Dominoserver/Clients auf 8.5.2

Den Link hier habe ich mir mal durchgelesen.

Und zu der Grafik hab ich mal ne Frage:


Als erstes den Adminclient updaten. Ist klar. Hatte ich ja auch vor.  :)
Dann das DD Design updaten. Soll das mit dem Design des Adminclients passieren? Weil einen 8er Server habe ich bis dahin ja noch nicht. Heisst dann, dass die Templates für das DD auch bei dem Adminclient dabei sind?

Im 3. Punkt ist dann der Adminserver und die System DBs dran. Die System DBs werden dann wohl mit den Templates des Server aktualisiert? Dann auch noch mal das DD? Vermutlich wird sich da aber gar nichts ändern oder?

Sorry, wenn ich so doof frage, aber lieber einmal zuviel gefragt, als nachher kein Domino mehr zu haben  :'(

Du willst ev. noch "Create_R85_Databases=1" in der notes.ini setzen.

Oh ha. Dann ergibt das auch wieder Sinn  8)

Praktisch sind auch
SetupLeaveServerTasks=1

Und Du solltest Dir überlegen, den Designer-Task zu deaktivieren, damit nicht alle Mailboxen,... automatisch auf das neue Design umgestellt werden.

Nach der Umstellung würde ich dann mal über den Einsatz von DAOS und ID Vault nachdenken.
