Option "Read Only" bei Fileressourcen. Was bedeutet das

Hallo, ich hab im 8.5.1er Designer gerade die Option "Read Only" bei Web-Properties gefunden.

Weiß jemand näheres was diese Option bewirkt.
Die Hilfe sagt dazu:

Read Only - Checking this causes the selected design element(s) to be read-only on the Web.

Nur, ich dachte immer Fileressourcen sind im Web immer "Read-Only"
