Sametime 8.5 - LDAP Anbindung scheitert /Skills neede for administering Sametime

Hallo Leute,

ich versuche nun seit ca. 2 Tagen vergeblich die LDAP -Anbindung einzurichten, vergeblich!
Es handelt sich um das Ziel, Sametime Server 8.5 ans Laufen zu bringen.

Also hab ich im Internet (http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/sametime/v8r5/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.help.sametime.v85.doc/welcome_85.html) nachgeschaut, was man alles tun muss.

Den DB2 Server hab ich installiert
Die STSC Datenbank im DB2 hab ich auch angelegt (die MeetingDB ist auch schon eingerichtet STSM)
Die System Console ist auch schon installiert und ich hab mich (nach manuellem Start des Servers im StscAppProfile) auch schon an diese Console eingeloggt.
JEtzt versuche ich halt vergeblich, die LDAP Anbindung an einem vorhandenen LDAP Server einzurichten. (Fehlermld. AIDSC0130E: Failed to detect the LDAP server configuration.) Das ist aber quatsch, da ich mit dem Tool Softera LDAP Browser draufkomme.






Ach bevor ich es vergesse: Ist das hier ein Witz, oder meint IBM das etwa ernst? :-)

Mag ja sein, aber der Console Server tut es nun einmal nicht. Also nicht Quatsch.

Kannst du den LDAP server vom Console Server aus anpingen?

und Danke für deine Antwort.
Das Anpingen habe ich (großes IndianerEhrenwort) als allererstes versucht. Ja, das Anpingen geht sogar auf die richtige IP-Adresse :-)

Jetzt lese ich mir aber erst mal die Info aus deinem Link durch.

OK. Nein, der Ping geht, und auch noch http. Es handelt sich hierbei um einen Domino Server, der auch noch Sametime 802 Server ist.

Muß man eigentlich unbedingt diesen ganzen Websphere -Blödsinn verwenden? Ich meine, ein Domino-Server und darauf dann die ST installation (wie beim Vorgänger) sollte doch reichen? Oder täusche ich mich da?

Leider habe ich nur verwirrende Infos dazu aus dem inet erhalten. Wisst Ihr das besser?

Oder muss ST mit Websphere installiert werden, damit diese neuen Features bzgl. OnlineMeeting laufen?
