Sametime 8.5 installation schlägt fehl

Hallo Zusammen,

ich versuche gerade zu Testzwecken einen Sametime-Community-Server zu installieren.
Ich bin nach dem Lotus Sametime 8.5 Installation & Administration Guide vorgegangen.

Zu meiner Umgebung
3x W2K3 Server
  - 1 Server Windows Domäne + AD + Notes-AdminClient / Integratet Solutins Console
  - 1 Server DominoServer + LotusQuickr
  - 1 Server Sametime-Server (hält die DB2-Datenbank)

Über die Sametime System Center Console habe ich einen Implementierungsplan erstellt.
Dann Domino auf dem Sametime-Server installiert (ohne DOLS) - anschließend Sametime 8.5 Installation ausgeführt.
So weit so gut - jedoch bleibt die Installation bei 99% stehen und geht nicht mehr weiter

Wenn Deine Installation tatsächlich schon bei

aussteigt, ist das verdammt früh. Hast Du denn den Dominoserver nach der Installation auch konfiguriert und mindestens einmal hochgefahren? So einen frühen Setupausstieg habe ich noch nie gesehen, auch nicht, dass das Setup die Server Identität nicht annehmen konnte. Oder hat Deine Domino Server ID evtl. ein Passwort?

ja die Domino Server ID hat ein Passwort. Die Idee hatte ich auch schon, dass dieses Passwort wohl das Problem sein könnte.
Jedoch werde ich bei der Registrierung des Servers "gezwungen" ein Passwort anzugeben. Lässt sich dies vielleicht umgehen?

Ok, habs im Forum gefunden.
Versuch jetzt mal eine Server.id ohne Passwort zu erzeugen und dann nochmal Sametime zu installieren.

das Passwort ist auf jeden Fall die Ursache des Problems. Du musst deshalb den Server aber nicht neu registrieren.

Make sure that the Domino server.id does not have a password. When you installed Lotus Domino, if you provided a password for the server.id, you must remove the password. Or, if you have a copy of the server.id file without a password saved locally, you can replace the server.id in the data directory of the server before you set up the server. To remove a password from a server.id, log in to the Lotus Notes client using the server.id. Then choose - File - Security - User Security and reset the password to be empty.
