(1) Go to Config Doc>>Router/SMTP>>Message Disclaimers
Select ENABLED for MESSAGE DISCLAIMER
Save & close config doc
On server issue TELL ROUTER UPDATE CONFIG command
(2) Create a policy setting doc in admin
People & Group tab>>>Settings option on left side menu
Select Add Settings
Select Mail
Enter the settings name on the basics tab
Om Message Disclaimer tab enter the disclaimer text
Select ENABLED for NOTES CLIENT CAN ADD DISCLAIMERS
Save & Close
(3) Create a policy document
People & Group tab>>>Policies option on left side menu
Enter a policy name
Explicit for policy type
For the MAIL field choose the policy setting that was just created in step (2)
Save & Close
(4) Now go to the Person Doc for the user sending mails with disclaimers
Ensure this user has an internet address specified
Then go to Admin tab
Go to the ASSIGNED POLICY field and select the policy
(5) Go to the Location doc for user sending messages and ensure that
there is an internet mail address enetered on the Basics tab.
Go to Mail tab and ensure that MIME FORMAT is selected for FORMAT FOR MESSAGES
ADDRESSED TO INTERNET ADDRESSES
(6) The person doc for any recipients must have PREFERS MIME selected for
FORMAT PREFERENCES FOR INCOMING MAIL along with an INTERNET ADDRESS specified
(7) On domino server issue the command TELL ADMINP PROCESS MAILPOLICY

Then do a server restart
