Router sendet mails erst wenn 5 Nachrichten warten...

Ich habe hier 2 Domains, die cross- Zertifiziert sind, und sich gegenseitig mails schicken können.

Auf Domain 1 habe ich folgendes Verbindungs- Dokument:

Connection type:   Local Area Network      Usage priority:   Normal
Source server:   Server1/Cert1      Destination server:   SERVER2/Cert2
Source domain:   DOM1      Destination domain:   DOM2
Use the port(s):   TCPIP      Optional network address:   x.x.x.x

Routing task:   Mail Routing
Route at once if:   1 messages pending
Routing cost:   1
Router type:   Push Only

Schedule:   Enabled
Connect at times:   12:00 each day
Repeat interval of:   0 minutes
Days of week:   Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat


Wenn ich jetzt in Dom1 eine Mail erstelle, dann landet die in der mail.box auf Server1.

Tell router show queue ergibt:

 Msgs State     Via   Destination
    1 Wait      NRPC  CN=SERVER2/O=CERT2 (Push)


Erst wenn hier 5 aufgelaufen sind, routet der Server die Mails...
Und das OBWOHL das Verbindungsdokument doch eindeutig was anderes sagt....
Dieses Verhalten ist mir fremd, es scheint mir, als ob der Server schlicht das verbindungsdokument ignoriert...

Ein sh sched am Server liefert allerdings:
SERVER2/CERT2               Mail Routing              12.05.2007 12:00:00

also offensichtlich liest er das Dokument zumindest aus.

Kennt jemand diese Phänomen ?

Problem

Mail is only routing if five mails are pending although the mail threshold is set to 1 in the Connection Document.
Cause

In one particular case, there was another Connection Document with the mail threshold set to five. This Connection Document also used a wildcard (*), with the routing task and schedule both disabled.

Solution
This issue was reported to Lotus software Quality Engineering and is currently under investigation. You can work around this issue by adjusting the mail threshold in all Connection documents, even those that are not defined for mail routing.

TO REPRODUCE

1. Set up three servers (A, B, C) in one Notes domain and register some users on all servers.

2. Add Servers B and C to a cluster.

3. Create a LAN Connection Document from Server A to the cluster and set the mail threshold to 1.

4. Have a user on Server A send e-mails to users on Server A and Server B. Check to make sure all is working.

5. Create an additional LAN Connection Document with the source server as a wildcard ("*", without quotes) and the destination server as the cluster. Disable mail routing and schedule.

6. Restart Server A. Have a user on Server A send mail to users on Server A and Server B. Note that mail only routes if five mails are pending.

7. Edit the wildcard Connection Document and enable mail routing. Set the mail threshold to seven, save and close the document. Open it again, disable mail routing and save the document.

8. Repeat Step 6. Notes that the mail is now only routing if seven mails are pending.

ja, hatte ich natürlich auch gemacht....
Ich habe jetzt das (eigentlich) offensichtliche gemacht, und das Verbindungs- Dokument gelöscht und komplett neu angelegt, und SCHWUPS, ging es wieder...

Offensichtlich hatte das Verbindungsdokument einen Knacks, ODER (andere Theorie) es lag an einem weiteren Verbindungsdokument zu der Domain, bei der zwar das Mailrouting deaktiviert war, aber trotzdem in dem dadurch versteckten Feld für "Route at once if:" eine 5 drin stand...

Woran es genau lag werde ich wohl nie herausfinden, aber wenigstens läuft es jetzt wieder...
