Hi,
ich kann Deinem Posting leider nicht entnehmen, mit welcher Version Du arbeitest.
Ansatz:
Recurring Database Corruption Due to Folders
Problem:
A Notes database can become corrupt due to a folder in the database becoming corrupt. The corruption can lead to Fixup being run and documents being deleted. Some of the errors you may see are:
"Folder has been damaged. Please close and reopen database to have it repaired."
"This database cannot be read due to an invalid on disk structure"
Other symptoms include folders being purged when opening the database.
Solution:
One possible reason for this type of database corruption is related to the folder memory pool becoming corrupt. This can happen in databases, whether they have quotas or not. For information on the scenario where the database has an assigned quota, refer to the document, "NSF Folder Pool Corruption if DB Quotas Are Used" (#172987).
For the scenario without quotas, if a folder operation fails, the folder memory pool can become corrupt due to Notes incorrectly freeing memory twice. A folder operation is moving/removing a document to/from a folder. A folder operation can be performed by a person, a formula/script, or via replication.
Lotus Development identified the software problem and created a fix in 5.0.4 for folder memory corruption due to Notes freeing memory twice.
Supporting Information:
Please note that the fix information for spr #MSAN4523AY (pasted below) has a description indicating that the issue is specific to database Quotas. However, as noted above, database corruption related to this spr can occur with or without quotas. These two separate issues are linked to this one spr #, and both have been fixed in 5.0.4.
