Hallo zusammen  

Wenn ich ein Html Mail mit meinem Outlook oder Outlook Express Client erstelle und bilder usw. einfüge

dann verschwinden die bilder und steht an der stell [Image] und unten diesen Text z. B "(Embedded image moved to file: pic10121.pcx)"

kann mir jemand sagen wieso die Mails verändert werden???
Wir benutzen Domino version 5.07

Problem
You have a MIME message containing background images (for example, GIF, JPG). When the message is delivered to a Domino R5 server (SMTP) for conversion from MIME to Notes rich text (CD) format, it is received with the image as an attachment, instead of being converted to an embedded image.

The issue may be created as follows:

1. From MS Internet Explorer (set the default e-mail client as Outlook Express), open a web page that contains images.
2. From the Internet Explorer menu, select File, Send, Page by E-mail.
3. Send current Web page as an Internet mail message to a Notes user (whose mail format is "Prefer Notes Rich Text").
4. The Notes user will receive the message with the Web page images as attachments.

Solution
The issue was reported to Lotus Quality Engineering and has been addressed.

Ist laut IBM mit Notes 5.0.8 gelöst.
