Hier ist beschrieben, was in Preferences steckt:

This is a listing of the bit settings for PREFERENCES= line in the NOTES.INI. This line governs settings such as "scan unread", "empty trash", etc. The number is simply derived by doing an "AND" operation on the values of the individual settings. If you convert the number from the INI into Binary, you can see the bit positions.

This listing is expanded from data I picked up on the web - it originated from James Buzek at Procter & Gamble.

The list shows the bit position (from the right) and the value.

Im Zweifel geht es auch unter Datei - Extras - Benutzervorgaben.....
Dort gibt es -ich meine unter "allgemein"- das Häkchen "Arbeitsumgebung abfragen".
Falls nicht unter "allgemein", es sitzt irgendwo in den einzelnen Karteikarten, auf jeden Fall rechts oben (rein visuelle Beschreibung, aber ich habe @home keinen Notes-Client  ;D)

Danke, aber das wusste ich! Mir war nur nicht bekannt WO dieses dann "hingespeichert" wird!
Nun weiß ich es ja:

notes.ini (Tja egentlich wo sonst?? ;.-))

Preferences=24

Das ist aber nicht richtig - im Wert von Preferences muss das 24. Bit gesetzt sein. Mit Preferences=24 hat das gar nichts zu tun.
