Specifically, IBM Software currently supports Service Packs 4 , 5 , and 6a, and any future releases of Service Packs. This includes Windows 2000 Pro, Server, Advanced Server and Data Center Service Packs 1, 2, and 3. We support Service Pack 4 and any future release that will be made public by Microsoft for Windows NT 4, Windows 2000, and .Net servers, when they are available.
NOTE: Service Packs and platforms are not "certified". Lotus, in years past, used the terms "supported" and "certified" for platforms. Lotus stopped differentiating supported vs. certified in 2001. Consistent with the other IBM software brands, a platform is either supported or unsupported, and no platform certification exists.
Information for Service Packs can be found in the readme files that accompany your software.
Note:
Notes Domino 6.x.x cannot be installed on the Windows NT platform if the operating system is not running at least SP6. SP6a is recommended. Please see the information below regarding SP6. When attemtping to install Notes 6.x.x running a Service Pack lower the SP6, the following error will be received :
150: Setup has detected an incompatible version of Windows. Please click OK and verify that the target system is running either Windows 95 (or later version), or Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 6 (or later version), before relaunching the installation
This issue was reported to Quality Engineering via SPR# GPFM587LQM and has been closed. The Notes 6 MSI was based on version 2.0 of the Microsoft installer, Windows NT 4.0 cannot run version 2.0 of the MSI installer without having SP6 installed.
