Attachments lassen sich nicht öffnen und/oder speichern

Guten Morgen,

ich habe seit einiger Zeit folgendes Problem:

Wenn ich eine e-mail mit einem Anhang bekomme, dann kann ich diese Anhänge weder öffnen noch speichern. Das betrifft nur PDF Dateien und das auch nur sporadisch.

Ich bekomme dann die Fehlermeldung: Note item not found

Diese mail kann auch nicht mit den Attachments weitergeleitet werden.

Verwendete Version: 5.0.5

In einem Gespräch mit einem der Absender einer solchen mail erfuhr ich, das die PDF Dateien mit Adobe Acrobat 6 erstellt wurden.

Kann es sein, das es ein Kompatibilitätsproblem zwischen der alten Lotus Notes Version und neueren PDF Dateien gibt?

Nein. In Bezug auf PDFs ist Notes nur für das Lösen des Attachments (also ein Bytehaufen wie jeder andere auch) und den Start des Readers zuständig.

vielen Dank für Deine Antwort. Klingt auch logisch. Woran kannes dann liegen. Zur information: mehrere user haben dieses Problem, es liegt also nicht an einer einzelnen fehlerhaftern Installation oder workstation. Es muss irgendwo ein Problem in Lotus Notes sein.

Abstract
A Notes user sends an Internet message with an attachment to a mail recipient who has "Prefers MIME" or "No Preference" for message storage in the "Format preference for incoming mail" field (in the MIME tab of the recipient's Person document). The message is processed by a Domino 5.x SMTP server. Upon receipt, the recipient double clicks the message to put it into Edit mode, modifies the message content, and saves the message. Later, the recipient reopens the message and attempts to detach its attachment. One of the following conditions occurs: If the attachment was detached or launched before the message was modified and saved, the attachment can be detached successfully. If the attachment was not previously detached or launched before the message was modified and saved, the attachment cannot be detached successfully. Instead, the following error displays: "Note Item Not Found." Two workarounds to avoid the second condition are as follows: Detach or launch the message before it is modified, or
Change the recipient's message storage to "Prefers Notes Rich Text."  Changing message storage to "Prefers Notes Rich Text" does not correct the condition for existing messages in which the error "Note Item Not Found" has already displayed; however, it does prevent the condition from arising for new messages with attachments.

SPR# PBUA4RBEPM - Fixed a problem which caused corruption when saving a document with an attachment. Corruption only occurred when the original document was loaded as MIME.

Hi,

gerade bei der Version 5 gibt es einige Probleme bei Attachments via SMTP. Da scheinen bestimmte Mailsysteme eine Form von MIME Mail zu Erstellen die dem Notes Client nicht gut bekommt. Eine Möglichkeit wäre auf die höchste R5 Version zu wechseln das ist 5.0.13 oder aber mit einem ND6 Client zu arbeiten.
