mein neues Tool ist fertig.

A Windows 32 tool to clean up (kill) any leftover processes after a Crash of your Notes Client - your running Notes Client will be killed, too... ;-)

Ich kenne ZAPNotes nicht.

Hier eine Übersicht, was mein Teil macht:

# Only one .EXE file - no installation required. Unzip and double-click the .EXE file.

# Runs on Windows 98, 2000, XP, 2003 (tested on Windows XP).

# Call the NSD tool (Notes System Diagnostics) with the option -kill in the background. From the documentation of NSD you will know exactly, what madicon NotesKiller is doing.

# Calls to NSD are written to a activity log window.

# [Optional] Delete older files in the folder IBM_TECHNICAL_SUPPORT (below your data directory) - output from NSD is written there. Only keeps the files from the last NSD run.

# [Optional] Restarts your Notes Client after killing the processes.

# [Optional] Stores your settings in the Windows Registry database. Easy cleanup - hit one button and NotesKillers's settings are removed from the registry.

# [Notes-like] Hit the ESC key to close NotesKiller :-)

war erst skeptisch, weil ich schon lange "nsd -kill" benutze, aber allein die Punkte
- Dateien IBM_TECHNICAL_SUPPORT* löschen und
- Neustart Notes-Client
machen diese Teil sehr wertvoll.

Hallo zusammen,

habe in der Version 1.0.1 einen BUG gefixt. Sofern im Pfad zum Notes Client Programm- oder Data-Verzeichnis Leerzeichen enthalten waren, waren die Aufrufe des NSD's nicht OK. Sollte jetzt funktionieren.
