Title:
Error: "Ignoring Pre-Cutoff Unread Replication Activities for User..."
Product: Lotus Domino > Lotus Domino Server > Version 6.5.x
Platform(s): Platform Independent
Date: 30.03.2005
Doc Number: 1178004
Problem
Since upgrading to Domino 6.5.x, an administrator randomly sees the following error message in the Log:
"Ignoring Pre-Cutoff Unread Replication Activities for user <xxx>/<OU>/<OU>/<ORG>in database C:\Lotus\Domino\Data\mail\<xxx>.nsf"
Solution
This message is new to the Domino 6.5.x codestream and is really just informational text that is printed out to the console. It is nothing to be concerned about. It is triggered when there are some unread mark activities older than the replication cutoff date that are not being transferred because they are too old.
There are two possible ways to avoid the error:
(1) create a new replica of the database and make sure that the replication cutoff date is set to an earlier date, or
(2) set the replication cutoff date on the existing database to an earlier date and replicate the source and target replicas.
Schönes Wochenende!
Andreas
