Mail Filter Rules are ignored

Hello !

I am running Lotus Notes Client 5.0.11.

After making a Mail-Database archive procedure on my local computer, Notes now totally ignores my rules for filtering incoming email.
Before making this "archive now"-action everything was fine with my rules.
In addition to the "rules"-problem, the personal preference-settings also were reset (e.g. the signature-text was erased etc...)

I do not know what I might have done wrong !!!!

Reentering my data in the preferences-boxes was easy but the filter rules won't work anymore !!  And I don't know how to make them running again (they are still correct and enabled) !!!

any advice ??

may be the user has no access to execute an agent. have a look on your server-document.

I have checked this before, all our users can run agents on our server.

I've encountered this problem only after switching Templates on a Mailfile.

Did you try to open and save a rule to see, if it runs after this ?

Another problem I had with Mailrules was, that they wouldn't function when there was a space in the rule (see attached Image).

In this case add the rule a second time and delete the first rule with the space. The second rule should have no spaces then.
