Hallo Admin´s und Entwickler,

ich habe eine Maildatei wo ich die Fehlermeldung das eine konsistenzprüfung durchgeführt werden muß.

Fixup hat nicht geholfen  >:( >:(

Hat jemand noch eine Idee wie man die Maildatei retten kann???

Hallo!

Ich hatte schon öfter mal das gleiche Problem.
Bei mir hat es geholfen die Datenbank lokal am Server zu öffnen.
Dann wird die Konsistenzprüfung durchgeführt (dauert a bissl) und dann kann mal sie auch wieder von Client aus öffnen.

kannst du eine Replik der DB erstellen ?.
Hast du überhaupt noch Zugriff auf die DB ? (ACL, Eigenschaften ).

Wenn du noch Zugriff hast, sollte eine neue Replik das Problem lösen  ;D

Error: "File Truncated - File May Have Been Damaged" Checking Databases after Server Crash

Problem:

Your Domino R5 server crashes due to hardware failure (hard disk failure, etc.).  If you restart the server with no tasks loaded, and then load the tasks one by one (using the 'Load' command at the Domino server console), eventually errors are generated when databases are being consistency checked.  For example:

07/06/2001 11:25:43   Error checking database mail\.nsf: This database cannot be read due to an invalid on disk structure
07/06/2001 11:25:47   Error checking database admin4.nsf: File truncated - file may have been damaged
07/06/2001 11:25:47   Performing consistency check on mail\UserA.nsf...
07/06/2001 11:25:48   Error checking database mail\UserA.nsf: File truncated - file may have been damaged

Not all database are effected.

Solution:

Although it is sometimes possible to recover data from truncated NSF files it is advisable to restore from the last good backup.
