Vielleicht liegt es hier dran:
R5 provides the option to disable type-ahead on the server in the Configuration document in the Domino Directory. The Basics tab of this document has the field labeled "Type-ahead", which defaults to enabled, but can be changed to disabled.
The Notes client Location document still is used to set type-ahead to (1) disabled, (2) Local only or (3) Local then server. Disabling type-ahead on the server means that option 3 is the same as option 2. Name lookup will still occur when the client uses the F9 key or when a memo is sent. Disabling type-ahead in the Configuration document will help server performance.
A Configuration document may apply to all servers in that domain, a group of servers, or a specific server.
The R5 client can now specify a Domino server other than its home server for name lookups and type-ahead. This is set in the Location document on the Servers tab.
The R5 client will use the following directories if type-ahead is enabled in its current Location document:
Personal Name and Address Book
Local Directory Catalog and any other locally cascaded directories
If the type-ahead setting is 'Local only', the client then stops searching.
If the type-ahead setting is 'Local then server' and type-ahead is enabled on the Domino server, the search continues using:
Domino Directory located on the Domino Directory server listed on the Servers tab of the Location document, or if this field is empty, the Domino Directory on the home/mail server.
Other Domino directories specified in the Directory Assistance database on that server.
Note that type-ahead does not use the server-based Directory Catalog or LDAP services through Directory Assistance or local Account documents.
Supporting Information:
Note that the following message will appear in the status bar of the client if this option is being used:
"Type-ahead not supported on this server."
