FM:"Notes unterstütz nur 250 schriftarten"

Guten Tag!
Habe beim Druck eine FM "Notes unterstütz nicht mehr als 250 Schriftarten", sage OK, danach wird gedruckt. Im Betriebsystem (WIN2000) unter Syststeurung-Schriftarten ein User hat 360 Schriftarten und bekommt solche Meldung nicht, und bei betroffenen User (hatte 360) habe 160 gelöscht, aber Meldung kommt immer wieder? Was könnte ich machen?

Problem:

When you attempt to open a Notes R4 or R5 database or switch to a particular view in a database, or when printing or print previewing, the following error message occurs:

"Cannot configure more than 250 fonts"

The database or view will not open, even in design mode.  You may experience this problem even after installing a Font Manager such as Adobe Type Manager (ATM) on a Macintosh or Windows computer.  Other problems may occur such as the view pane going completely black, but everything else is functional.

Solution:

These problems will occur any time more than 250 fonts are available in the operating system for indexing in Notes.  Notes uses an 8-bit indexing ID to build a table of available fonts on the system, allowing Notes to index only up to 250 fonts.  This limitation and its effects/symptoms have been addressed in Notes 5.0.5 Client and Notes 5.0.6 Client (sprs #DSIY4HATGR, #JPKR2ZHR2N, #ECAR4MZMV4).

Workaround for Notes releases prior to 5.0.5:
Since the font table that Notes builds is highly dependent on the operating system font ID assignments, there is no clear pattern to which fonts will be included in Notes.  A recommendation is to use a Font Manager such as Adobe Type Manager on each machine to partially control the indexing order of fonts.  The customer should reduce the number of fonts in the system folder (either Macintosh or Windows) to include only standard fonts.  The customer should only use these fonts when designing views in Notes.  Additional fonts may be activated by a Font Manager.  With this approach, all system fonts will be indexed first, and therefore, any fonts used in a Notes View should be available.
