Hallo...
When you run Notes for the first time, you can choose to have Notes automatically create a POP3 and SMTP mail accounts. To manually create a POP or SMTP account, you need to follow the steps for creating Internet accounts.
After you have created accounts for POP3 and SMTP, and set up a location document to specify a mail file, you can send and receive mail. Note that POP mail can also be retrieved to a server-based mail file.
1. Select a location from which you can access your POP3 and SMTP accounts.
2. Open the Replication page.
3. Click Start.
4. Notes receives mail from the Internet server to the database specified in the "Mail file" field of the current location document. Notes will also send any outgoing mail waiting in the SMTP.BOX.
Tip You can specify replication times by clicking the clock icon on the Replication page.
To make changes to your POP and SMTP account accounts:
5. Click File - Mobile - Locations
6. Under Advanced, click Accounts.
7. Select the account you would like to edit and click Edit Account on the action bar.
8. Most changes can be made in the Advanced tab.
When you set up a POP account, you can specify whether you want to leave your e-mail on the Internet server. The default is Yes.
