Hi Ulrich
With regard to PMR number 00167,032,724 (receiving an "Unable to redirect
failover" error message), after great efforts previously to try to
reproduce this error for another of our customers, we finally found where
the problem was - i.e. both personal names contained location documents
where in the Mail tab the "Mail-Datei" field was empty... it should
contain the path where the mail file is in the server ( ie mail/jdoe.nsf )
when the user specifies the mail database is in the server ( as in both
cases ). Our client code does not check if the field is empty and log
shows the failure anyway appending the ".nsf" string.
We cannot make any hotfix for this MR because this is a client fix ( we
only make hotfix for the server ). We can fix this programmatically or via
the template, avoiding to save a form with the Mail path empty and the
mail on the server.
For a previous customer he removed the error from appearing in the log by
getting the user name that showed the problem and fixing it by putting the
mail database in the "Mail-Datei" field.
This issue is addressed in SPR Number OGRL5KTDZ9 and is still reproducible
in 6.5. A fix will be submitted in a future release of Domino.
Kind Regards,
Kieran Dooley
