Hi,
das ist aus der Lotus Support-DB :
Problem
A Domino R5 customer attempts name resolution but receives no matches. The following error message appears on the server console but is never written to the Log file:
"err_invalid_btree Error: Btree context signature is null"
Solution
In this case, replacing the Domino Directory from another unaffected server resolved the problem.
In Domino 5.0.5, the NOTES.INI parameter DEBUG_BTREE_ERRORS=1 was added by default to display any btree errors on the Domino server console. It is because of this parameter that the customer is actually seeing the error. It indicates there is some sort of corruption in a database, usually a view collection. If the customer was receiving this error when trying to do a name lookup, it would make sense that a view in the Domino Directory was corrupted.
Supporting Information:
In another case, a customer reported that users could not use "Type ahead", while other users could not log on, after occurrence of this error on the Domino Directory. Often, when view corruption is detected, the view is flagged and will be repaired upon server restart or by the Notes Indexing Facility (NIF) on the fly. If the error still occurs, running Updall -r on the database or the specific view should repair it. For further information, refer to the document titled "Why is DEBUG_BTREE_ERRORS=1 in the NOTES.INI After Upgrading to Release 5.0.5?" (#183500 ).
In yet another case, a customer found that there were duplicate views in the Domino Directory. Attempting to delete the duplicate views held in memory while the server was up produced this error.
