SPAM-Filter für den Notes Client (POP3)

Wer kennt das nicht. Du hast einen Mail-Account bei web.de, gmx oder einem anderen Anbieter und wirst tagtäglich von so Spam-Mails nur so erschlagen.

Nun, Lotus Notes bietet ja die Möglichkeit, bestimmte Mails über Regeln zu filtern. Bei Spam hat man da aber leider keine Chance.

Ich habe mich daher mal ein wenig umgeschaut, ob es da nicht eine einfache Möglichkeit gibt und bin bei http://www.webattack.com/get/saproxy.html fündig geworden.

Auch wenn in den Konfigurationshinweisen immer nur von Outlook und Kollegen die Rede ist, läßt sich der Proxy auch für Lotus Notes verwenden.

Die Konfiguration ist denkbar einfach; das bestehende Konto für den POP3 Abruf muß lediglich auf den Proxy umgebogen werden.



Statt z.B. pop3.web.de wird in das feld "Server für dieses Benutzerkonto" die Adresse des Proxy eingetragen ( 127.0.0.1)
Wichtig ist hier, daß in dem Feld "Anmeldename" hinter dem Namen der eigentliche Account eingetragen wird.

Alle anderen Einstellungen bleiben unverändert

dumme Frage: wie lernt eigentlich der Filter, wenn ich alle Mails in Notes mit SPAM deklariert im Subject dennoch durchlasse? Ich kann ja von Notes Mail aus nicht mehr auf den Spam Assassin integriert zurückgreifen, damit er "was lernt".

Mein Testmail klappte, aber ich habe aktuell keine Spam  :P

Die Manual die dabei ist meint nur folgendes:

If this box is checked, SAproxy will automatically feed high-scoring mails (or low-scoring mails, for non-spam) into its learning systems in order to better recognize future messages of the same type. This option will slightly slow down the rate at which SAproxy can check mail and requires about 5 to 20 MB of additional disk space. (The learning system is a naive-Bayesian-style classifier.)
Note that learning doesn't happen on every message since SAproxy is very careful to only learn on messages that are very clearly spam or very clearly non-spam. In addition, a minimum of 200 spam and 200 non-spam messages need to be learned before the learning system is actively used to help classify incoming messages, so many more than 200 spam and non-spam messages need to be scanned by SAproxy before learning starts working.
